Back in Ambon
Just a week after I returned to Ambon we began a two-week workshop with the oral Bible storying facilitators from the Buru and Wemale languages. We're in the last couple of days now and I'm ready for a rest but thankful for the progress we've made as both languages have completed several stories, for both the first exploratory stage. These stories aren't ready to use but they learned enough about making stories that the stories can now wait until what we call the "process check" when I will watch them craft an entire story to make sure they are getting all the steps right.Teaching participants about the location of Abraham's travels in preparation for crafting a story about Abraham. |
